Hi there!

I’m making a difference and running for a cause that's close to my heart. 9 years ago I lost my fiancé and best friend that I had planned a life with very suddenly and unexpectedly to cancer. He was a fit, healthy 23 year old who had just received his second Dan black belt in tae Kwan do and did rock climbing and boot camp for fun. He had the world at his fingertips and yet from diagnosis to when he passed away was only a matter of weeks. Cancer not only took his life but destroyed mine and his families in the process. I know everyone out there either knows someone or they themselves have had to face cancer and the impact this has is devastating. Let’s get together and raise some money to put towards continued research to help develop more effective treatments for this non-discriminating horrendous disease that affects far too many people!
